Core Distinctives

Our core distinctives point us to Christ, align us with God’s Word, and remind us of the shoulders on which we stand.

Christ-Centered

We proclaim that Christ is central throughout Scripture.
Namely, that the Law introduces us to Jesus, the Prophets predict Jesus, the Gospels present Jesus, the Acts proclaim Jesus, the Epistles explain Jesus, and the Revelation anticipates Jesus.

Reformed

Grace Fellowship holds to the teachings re-established in the Reformation and reflected in the five solas.
We stand on Scripture alone (sola scriptura).
We are saved by grace alone (sola gratia), through faith alone (sola fide), in Christ alone (solus Christus), to the glory of God alone (soli Deo gloria).

Baptistic

We believe the local church is self-governing and accountable to Christ, her Lord and head.
We also believe that baptism is observed by believers as an act of obedience, publicly professing faith in Christ.

Confessional

As a confessional church, we hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a general representation of our beliefs.
